With Tropical Storm Emily keeping most of us indoors, I thought I would share some of my favorite indoor activities to keep you and your pooch busy.

Play! The activities we like to do fully utilize the space of our condo. Play a game of hide-and-seek or if you have long halls, a good game of fetch or soccer is always a winner. If you live in a building where the noise of a bouncing ball may bother neighbors, these Hol-ee Rollers are awesome!
Teach your dog some new tricks! One trick I enjoy is naming my dogs’ toys and teaching them to retrieve each by name. One trick my dogs may never learn is how to put toys away, but it is a worthy one to teach if your dog is willing to learn!
If you are working from home because of the weather, hiding treats around the house or filling up a treat ball will let your dog have a rewarding and interactive activity. A Kong ball filled with peanut butter and treats is also a great way to give you both some personal time.
Last but not least, curl up with your dog and a good book or catch up on some TV. My dogs love to cuddle with me during a round of binge watching my favorite shows.
